Glasgow & Edinburgh Jan'10

Scotland this time of year is so cold it puts Invercargill to shame. The plan was to go up and see the Hurren's and their new bundle of joy in Edinburgh via Glasgow. We did a whistle stop tour of Glasgow in 5 hours which included some snow and hail and then took the train to Edinburgh.

Seaside just out of Edinburgh- It was a lot colder than this photo indicates trust me!

Above- Climbing Arthur's seat which looks out over Edinburgh.

Atop Arthur's seat with Edinburgh in the background, you can see Edinburgh Castle to the top left of the picture.

The proud new parents out for a stroll- Note the Bugaboo stroller. Casey assures me these are the Rolls Royce of strollers!
Nadia with baby Izzy- she did eventually give her back

Apparently this guy gets a road cone put on his head every weekend courtesy of the local university - those road cones are so versatile.
